The Snakes And The Ducks By Emma Van Dyke

Once upon atime there were snakes and ducks. The snakes used to eat up the ducks. But now the snakes wanted to be friends with the ducks. The ducks never listened to the snakes and started killing them. The population of snakes discresed. So, one day the queen of snakes went to talk to the ducks. The ducks killed her. The queen was the only one who could laysnake eggs. One by on the snakes were killed. Soon, there was only one snake left. A duck saw her and took out his pocket knife and said " You are the last of the snakes, I shall kill you.". The snake tryed to wiggle but the duck was holding her to tight. He put his pocket knife on her neck. He was about to cut her neck out but the a little duck yelled "STOP!!!". The duck put his knife down and said " Why did you tell me to stop?". The little duck replied by saying "The snakes just want to be our friends.". So the last snake became queen of the snakes. Soon there were more snakes the ever!!! All thanks to the little duck. The ducks and the snakes lived happily ever after.
